Line a roasting pan with foil or parchment paper and place the ham over it. Roast for 20 minutes.
5 lb Ham
While the ham is roasting, add the low-carb brown sweetener, dijon mustard, butter, cider vinegar, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves to a medium saucepan over medium heat, and bring to a gentle boil for 5 minutes to dissolve the sweetener. Stir and turn the heat down to the lowest setting.
1 ⅔ cups Granulated Low-Carb Brown Sweetener, ½ cup Dijon Mustard, ¼ cup Butter, 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar, ¼ teaspoon Ground Cloves, ¼ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
After 20 minutes, remove the ham from the oven and pour ¼ of the glaze over with a large spoon to coat the ham.
Continue roasting the ham for an extra 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Glaze the ham an extra 3 times using the remaining glaze throughout the cooking time.*See notes for cooking the ham.
Once cooked, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Slice ham and add any remaining glaze to the ham and serve.
Notes
Cooking times: The general rule for cooking ham is 15 to 18 minutes for each pound. So you can adjust the oven time according to your ham's total weight. Just add an extra 15 minutes in the oven for each extra pound of ham you are roasting.*All nutritional data are only estimates based on the products I used*Yield: 5 lbs, Servings: 12, Serving Size: 6.5 ounces, Net Carbs per Serving: 0g, Amounts per Serving~
