Hi, do I use bone-in, skin-on for all pieces of chicken or just if I’m using chicken breast?
Stacey says
Hi Clair, I leave the bone-in and skin-on for all the pieces of chicken.
Donna says
Hi this looks amazing! Do you think it would work ok in the crock pot? Any suggestions on additional liquid to add? Thanks!
Stacey says
Hi Donna, I don't know if the chicken skin will brown and get crisp in the slow cooker. Maybe after slow cooking, put it under the broiler for a couple minutes to brown. I know that is an extra step and might defeat the purpose of slow cooking. It would definitely need more of the marinade, possibly double the marinade liquid ingredients. Still not sure if it would work out, though. Good future experiment idea 🙂

Hello Stacey! I posted a review of your Buffalo Wings last week. Now, I also made this, I added ground cloves., and my boys again loved this, in fact, they were gone in 60 seconds or so...lol... good thing I set aside some for myself to bring to work. My co-workers loved this and the wings too. Guess, Im surrounded with people who love super spicy food.
Thank you!!!
Stacey says
Thank you Irene, So glad everyone enjoyed them. I will throw in some ground cloves next time I make this and see how it goes. I appreciate your kind words and feedback.
Gretchen says
This marinade was awesome! I used it on skinless chicken thighs and bbq'd then instead of baking them. Marinated them about 8 hours. Fantastic!!!
Stacey says
Gretchen,
Thank you for trying the recipe and your kind words. It is probably even better on the grill.
