Keto Cinnamon Rolls in Air Fryer or in the oven is one of my favorite breakfast treat recipes.
Luscious golden brown air-fried or oven-baked cinnamon rolls with yummy sweet cream cheese icing.
These tasty cinnamon buns are low in carbs and only 2g net carbs per roll.
This was inspired by my Keto Air Fryer Churros recipe on this site.
Eating one or two of these rolls with a cup of coffee or tea is absolutely heavenly.
You might need to pinch yourself to remind yourself that you're not dreaming and these are keto.
These keto cinnamon rolls air fryer can also be baked in the oven.

See the recipe card for oven directions and more details.
Instructions
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and 2 ounces of cream cheese. Heat in the microwave for intervals of 30 seconds, to melt the cheeses and blend them completely.
Remove from the microwave and add the xanthan gum, baking powder, almond flour, and 2 tablespoons of granular sweetener to the cheese mixture.
Mix well by kneading the dough with your hands. Add the egg, and vanilla and mix and knead until a sticky dough forms.
Place the dough between two parchment paper sheets
Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a thin rectangle. Set aside.
In a medium-sized bowl combine the ground cinnamon and 2 ½ tablespoons low carb granular sweetener.
Carefully remove the top parchment paper sheet and spread the softened butter over the dough.
Sprinkle the cinnamon and sweetener mixture over the butter with a small sieve.
Roll the dough tightly into a log shape with care. With a sharp knife or dough cutter slice the dough into about 10 round cinnamon rolls.
Preheat your Air Fryer to 350ºF (180℃). Place the rolls onto a parchment-lined tray and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, flip over and cook for 4 to 5 more minutes or until golden brown. Do it in batches to not overload your Air Fryer basket.
In a medium bowl, combine the icing ingredients until smooth.
Spread icing over the cooled cinnamon buns with a spoon evenly or using an icing piping bag fitted with a small tip. Garnish with optional orange zest.
Hint: Air fry in batches to not overload your Air Fryer basket (rolls should not touch before cooking)
Equipment
I used an air fryer for this recipe, but you can also use your oven for baking these cinnamon rolls.
