Keto Cubano Roll Up Ingredients

Dipping Sauce
Cubano Rolls
- 6 slices of Deli Ham, uncured, no sugar added
- 6 slices Havarti Cheese
- 6 Dill Pickle Spears
- ½ tablespoon Avocado Oil
Cuban Seasoning Mix *optional
- ⅛ teaspoon Salt
- ⅛ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ⅛ teaspoon Onion Powder
- ⅛ teaspoon Cumin Powder
- ⅛ teaspoon Dried Oregano Leaves
Garnish Choices for Dipping
- 2 tablespoons Low-Carb Honey Mustard Dressing, Mustard, or Dijon Mustard

In a small bowl, mix all the seasoning mix ingredients and set aside.

Blot the pickle spears with a paper towel to remove excess liquid, then set them aside.

Place a ham slice on a plate or cutting board, then add one slice of cheese on top.

Sprinkle each ham-and-cheese slice with ⅛ teaspoon of the seasoning mix.

Add a pickle spear on top.

Roll up the ham and cheese over the pickle.

Set them on a plate, seam side down. Repeat.

Heat a ½ tablespoon of avocado oil or cooking oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

Fry the rolls three at a time, with the seam side down, for about 2 minutes, or until they brown.

Flip over the rolls and fry for one more minute, or until they start to brown.

Remove from the pan and repeat with the next three rolls.

Slice the rolls in half.

Add toothpicks if desired, and serve with keto honey mustard dressing, regular mustard, or dijon mustard for dipping.
Storage
Store the cooked roll-ups in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
