    Keto Red Velvet Cheesecake Mousse is a quick and easy, no-bake, creamy, decadent, low-carb dessert that is ready to eat in minutes and has the flavor of a red velvet cake.

    The weather where I live is hot, and I am craving a red velvet cake, but I can not bring myself to bake or even turn on the oven in this heat.

    A no-bake keto dessert is what I cheerfully need, and this keto red velvet mousse was a delicious, cool, and creamy solution!

    This was inspired by my Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Mousse on this site.

    Ingredients

    Ingredients to make red velvet mousse.Pin
    • 6 ounces Cream Cheese block-style, softened
    • ½ cup Heavy Cream
    • 2 tablespoons Sour Cream, full fat
    • ⅓ cup Low Carb Powdered Sweetener
    • 1 ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract 
    • 1 ½ teaspoon Cocoa Powder
    • ½ teaspoon to 1 teaspoon Natural Red Food Coloring (depending on if you want a red color instead of pinkish)

    Garnish options:

    • Whipped heavy cream sweetened with stevia drops
    • Sugar-Free Chocolate Bar shavings (grated keto chocolate)

    Instructions

    Mixing the cream cheese and heavy cream.

    To a large mixing bowl with an electric hand mixer or stand mixer, add softened cream cheese, heavy cream, sour cream, powdered sweetener, and vanilla extract.

    Mixing until creamy.

    Mix on low for a minute, then on medium to high for a few minutes until thick, creamy, and thoroughly combined.

    Add cocoa powder and mix on high until combined, scraping the side with a rubber scraper to mix thoroughly.

    Adding food coloring.

    Add red food coloring.

    Mixing until blended.

    mix until blended or at the consistency of pudding.

    Spoon or pipe into glass.

    Spoon or use a pastry bag to pipe mousse into a small dessert glass or bowl.

    Garnish with a dollop of sugar-free whipped cream and a little optional grated sugar-free chocolate. Serve.

    Hint: You can also refrigerate mousse in a sealed container until ready to serve.

    • 1 ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    • 1 ½ teaspoon Cocoa Powder
    • ½ teaspoon to 1 teaspoon Natural Red Food Coloring depending on if you want a red color instead of pinkish
