    Air Fryer Green Bean Fries

    Air Fryer Green Bean Fries are keto, low carb, gluten free, and so crisp and delicious! 

    Cooking these low-carb breaded green beans in the air fryer turns these into a tasty, healthy french fry alternative.

    These fries are crisp, light, and not heavy or greasy. Perfect for dipping in your favorite low-carb sauces like ranch dressing or low-carb thousand Island dressing.

    Dipping an air fried green bean fry into thousand island sauce.Pin

    I used Fench green beans (haricots verts), but you can also use string beans or snap beans.

    The crushed pork rinds can be purchased pre-crushed like this Pork Panko brand, or you can put traditional pork rinds in a freezer bag and crush them with a mallet or rolling pin until fine crumbs form.

    Ingredients

    • 1 pound fresh Green Beans
    • 1 cup crushed Pork Rinds
    • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
    • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
    • 2 Eggs
    • ½ cup Almond Flour

    Preheat the air fryer to 390℉ (200℃) and line the air fryer basket or tray with parchment paper. Rinse & thoroughly dry green beans with paper towels.

    In a large bowl, mix together parmesan cheese,  finely crushed pork rinds, and garlic powder. Set aside. Add almond flour to a large bowl and set aside. In a medium bowl whisk the eggs.

    Dip each green bean in the egg mixture. Add green bean to almond flour to coat.

    Add green bean to the pork rind mixer and roll to coat.

    Place on parchment paper on air fryer basket not touching (may need to air fry in small batches depending on air fryer size). Spray lightly with oil spray.

    Air fry for 5 to 6 minutes or until golden brown.

    Hint: Depending on the size of your air fryer you may need to air fry the green beans in a few small batches.

    I used this large air fryer/ toaster oven to make these green bean fries.

    Storage

    Store the green bean fries in a covered container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or toaster oven just until crisp again.
