Common Questions About the Easy Keto Teriyaki Sauce Recipe:

How do I use this sauce?

You can use the sauce to drizzle on chicken or beef, marinade for meats, grilling meats, vegetables, or kebabs, as a dipping sauce, for a stir fry sauce, or drizzled on cauliflower rice.

Do I need to use xanthan gum in the recipe?

The xanthan gum thickens the sauce, so I would not recommend omitting it unless you're just using it as a marinade.

Can I use ground ginger instead of fresh ginger in the recipe?

I prefer fresh minced ginger in the sauce, but if you don't have access to fresh ginger, use ½ teaspoon ground ginger.

How do I store this sauce?

Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 weeks.

Will this work without the xanthan gum? Whenever I use it I can taste this gumminess to it no matter how small the increment. I have made teriyaki sauce before the way the Japanese in Japan make it and they don't use a thickener at all. They just boil it longer to get it to thicken some, but not as thick as the teriyaki sauces here in the states make teriyaki sauce.

Hi Kazy, yes you can omit the xanthan gum and have thinner sauce or boil to reduce the sauce.
