The Ultimate Natural Acne Spot Treatment and Mask is a simple two ingredient, non-toxic, acne healing spot treatment and preventative mask.
The ultimate natural acne spot treatment and mask is a DIY healing formula that I have been using for almost 20 years to treat and heal breakouts. It is the most effective treatment I have used. As a cosmetologist and esthetician who is prone to acne, I have used so many different products over the years. From very expensive prescription treatments to exclusive “salon only” treatments. I have still had the best results with this formula, and it happens to be natural and non-toxic. Best of all, you can make this yourself and it is not expensive. The first recipe is a two ingredient spot treatment for blemishes. The second recipe is a three ingredient mask for healing and preventing acne.
1. Natural Acne Spot Treatment Ingredients (stronger):
- ½ teaspoon Bentonite Healing Clay Powder, I use this clay: Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
- ½ teaspoon Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, I use this brand
Directions:
In a non- metal bowl, mix all spot treatment ingredients together thoroughly with a toothpick or a non-metal stirring stick. Apply a small amount of mixture to each blemish or problem area. Let treatment set for 10 minutes or more until it is dry, cracking, and you feel a pulling or tightening sensation. Rinse off treatment with warm water and a facial cloth. I use this as needed for any blemishes that appear. * you may feel a tingling sensation during treatment which is normal. And there may be some redness to treatment area for 30 minutes after application and this is also normal *
2. Natural Healing Acne Mask Ingredients (more gentle):
- 1 teaspoon Bentonite Healing Clay Powder, I use this clay: Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
- 1 teaspoon Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, I use this brand
- ¼ teaspoon Organic Honey
Directions:
In a non- metal bowl, mix all mask ingredients together thoroughly with a toothpick or a non-metal stirring stick. Apply a layer of the mask over facial areas, avoiding the eyelids and lips. Let mask set for 10 minutes or more until it is dry, cracking, and you feel a pulling or tightening sensation. Rinse off mask with warm water and a facial cloth. I use this once to twice a week. * you will feel a tingling sensation while the mask sets and that is normal*

Hi would this work for cystic acne Aswell
Stacey says
Hadi, I'm not a dermatologist, but I would try it out in small test area. When trying anew product, I always only use on a small area of skin, like a tiny patch of skin under my jaw next to my ear(if you have acne there). Give a few days to see if it helps before using in more visible areas.

How often can you use the spot treatment?
What do you like to use as an everyday face wash?
Stacey says
Nikki, I use the spot treatment anytime I have a blemish. You can use it as needed. I use this DIY sensitive skin cleanser that I make: http://beautyandthefoodie.com/natural-diy-sensitive-skin-cleanser/

Add charcoal to those masks - it is then even more effective.
Stacey says
Victoria, what a great addition. Charcoal would be most effective in this! Thanks
