Common Smoothie Recipe Questions:
Can I use a granular low carb sweetener?
The confectioner’s style, powdered low carb sweetener, is preferred as it mixes into the liquid better without being grainy in texture.
If you only have granular style sweetener, then turn it into a powder by using a food processor or coffee grinder to grind it into a powder.
Can I make this easy keto strawberry smoothie without the strawberry extract?
The strawberry extract is preferred since it gives it a nice berry flavor without using more berries, which will add more carbs to the recipe.
Can I use regular ice cubes instead of crushed ice?
It depends on how powerful your blender is. You can use cubes instead of crushed ice is you have a high powered blender. My blender is not very powerful, so I used crushed ice.
Can I use fresh strawberries instead of frozen?
I use frozen berries because it makes the smoothie frosty and thicker in texture. Frozen berries also tend to be sweeter as they are picked at optimal ripeness. Fresh berries tend to be picked before they are ripe, so they will have a longer shelf life.
Ingredients you will need:

- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or unsweetened coconut milk)
